StateWide Security is seeking qualified Protective Security Officers to support a private development project in Grayling, Michigan. This is a sensitive post requiring professionalism, vigilance, and strict adherence to security protocols.
• Provide security protection and access control
• Protect site property, materials, and personnel
• Prevent unauthorized access, theft, or damage
• Report and respond to unusual or emergency situations
• Control ingress and egress, including vetting contractors
• Enforce security and safety regulations
• Respond to alarms and suspicious activity
• Maintain knowledge of post orders
• Perform other duties as assigned
• U.S. Citizen
• Minimum age of 21
• Valid Social Security card
• Minimum two (2) years of armed security experience
• Firearms training meeting state and federal requirements
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Physically capable of standing a 12-hour post
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
• Demonstrated handgun proficiency
Work is performed at an active construction development site and may include extended periods of standing, walking, or monitoring access points. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Officers may be exposed to outdoor and seasonal conditions.
